Avet HX 5/2 MC Raptor Reels

American made fishing reels just keep getting better and better, and the Avet Raptor series is no exception. These fishing weapons are designed to last the distance in your battle with the fish of a lifetime.

The Avet HX shares a name is inspired by one of the oceans great predators the Wahoo. The HX(Hoo-X) features a dual drag, a ratcheting cam WITH magnetic cast control. This allows for the angler to easily control the spool during casts, and keeps an even tension on the spool through out the cast. This prevents the ever unpopular backlash/birds nests!

The HX/2 reels are built with a 2 speed gear box that covers you for any situation you can throw at it. A maximum drag of 28lbs(about 14kg) means there is plenty of drag to run some serious mono or braided lines.

This reels is sure to be a great allrounder, a lot of previous lever drags on the market are at best just castable. Jiggers, trollers and casting anglers can all benfit for the HX’s versatility. For securing the reel when trolling and harness’s during the fight, the HX’s also have large reel clamp/lugs to clip on to.
